Jim P. has over 30 years of experience in the food ingredient business and has been an Owner-Partner of St. Louis Food Ingredients since it began nearly 20 years ago. Prior to starting St. Louis Food Ingredients with Jim Heinz, Jim P. spent almost 10 years in sales with one the world’s leading soup, sauce and snack food companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

Jim has an extensive background of ingredient sales from both an upstream supply and downstream manufacturer’s point of view. He leverages this diverse knowledge for the mutual benefit of our supplier and manufacturer business partners across multiple ingredients and categories. Jim is actively involved with upholding our “best-in-class” customer service levels and ensuring the changing needs of our partners are continually met.

Mike joined St. Louis Food Ingredients in 2013 as an Owner-Partner after spending several years in the consumer packaged goods industry. Mike has worked with some of the largest CPG companies in the world to develop unique products and solutions for the grocery retail industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Millikin University and an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis, MO.

Mike brings a fresh perspective of the food business to St. Louis Food Ingredients. His understanding of grocery retail sales and trends adds another layer of value to our services when consulting with our business partners on product development and innovation, application and production. Mike’s attention to detail, proactive and passionate work ethic along with his professional approach to developing and maintaining relationships make him a perfect fit for the future growth of St. Louis Food Ingredients.
